The present development, with 13 dwelling units, is located in the London borough of Islington. It is an example of how affordable and sustainable housing can be created by increasing the urban density. On a narrow strip of land, two-storey dwellings with kitchen gardens were erected. External areas for the flats at the top are in the form of loggias and access balconies.

In addition to implementing a cost-effective, lightweight form of construction, installing a photovoltaic system and providing roof planting, the clients wished to set a signal for the future with the kitchen gardens for personal use. Local government and residents alike were drawn into the design process.
