Concrete, glass and oak – this restrained material selection characterises the house that Pool Leber Architekten created on the outskirts of Gräfelfing near Munich. In this new building, hardly anything other than the door and window openings are orthogonal. The roof and facades merge into one another as a homogeneous outer skin, separated only by minimalist coping and flashing along the gables and eaves.
