The original church had been built in 1494. Through the stylistic epochs it had undergone the respective changes, emulating Baroque and Gothic styles, and the last renovation was same 20 years ago. Apart from renovating the poor building condition of the church, a sacristy was added and a number of new design details re-established identity and unity. The double-storey new building of the sacristy is linked to the church by a glass passage, which in its unpretentious outline responds adequately to the formal language of the church. The passage with floor-to-ceiling glazing, reinforcement profiled rods and slightly barrelled roof leads up to an old Gothic door opening. The church room is a sensitive fusion of historic and modern elements.
