Raiding is a village with 800 inhabitants in Burgenland, Austria. The new concert hall stands in a small park squeezed in between single-family houses. A peripheral foyer is drawn round the central auditorium, which rises four metres higher. Large openings in the white facade create a link to the surrounding park and frame the view to the neighbouring house where Franz Liszt was born.
